A professional Engineer within the British Armed Forces. Has three years experience working in
different parts of the world in different demanding conditions and environments working to high
standards alone or as part of a team. Enthusiastic and proactive, often volunteering for new
challenges.
The Armed forces focuses a great deal on its people to take ownership of our own role, career
and tasks, becoming very self sufficient with maintaining personal equipment, tools and vehicles
within the military fleet and to know when and how to service tools and vehicles.
Very ambitious to move into one of the biggest organization within the roadside assistance, and
continue my future delivering my skills with Driving.
Work History
Currently working in the HM Forces (Corps of Royal Engineers). Served in the army for over
three years and currently in last year of service. Has gained many different skills ranging from
Constructing infrastructure for brigade exercises in Jordan and resource supply in Canada. As a
Combat Engineer trained to supply clean water to battle groups, construction of bridges and
defensive construction. Ensures military vehicles in the fleet are serviced and well maintained.
Completed an arduous promotion course to Lance Corporal, that tests physical and mental
stamina required of soldiers to complete tasks and show leadership under test conditions.
Previously worked as a labourer and worked on a range of different driveway’s and Industrial
tracks and as well as been trained on a variety of different tools and equipment that gives an
advantage with transferable knowledge and skills.
Presently constructing a footpath with 26 Engineer Regiment for school and college student to
walk too and from home safely. This is a community construction project between the Army and
the local community that began back in March 2015 developing skills in machine and plant
operating, building road foundation as well as the labour intensive work of placing curbs and
bridging culverts.

This is my present role where I am responsible for operation and maintenance of many
specialist vehicles to support the Royal Engineers

My role was dealing with customers, to give advice and general duties.
Awards and membership of professional bodies:
My most recent award is gaining my Mountain bike instructors qualification (QCF L2) on the
28th July.
Represented the royal engineers in racing alpine skiing 11/11/14
3. I have represented my county in XC events and athletics winning the Northern championship
XC and the Yorkshire XC championship and won the Junior great north run.
