WORK EXPERIENCE
2010 – To Date: Kelvin Power Station
Electrical Control Room Operator .( EOD )
Duties.
• Safely and efficiently control all aspects of the station’s electrical systems,
and perform duties of Controller with respect to the system memorandum in
accordance with Local Regulations and National Grid requirements.
• Mornitor, adjust,recommend and limit loading levels in accordance with
plant ratings on all electrical equipment in the station (e.g )
Transiformers,electrical boards,generators , outgoing Transmission and
Distribution lines & intreconnectors in order to limit and avoid unnecessary
plant forced outages .
• Develop and apply a good sound working knowledge of the PPA to ensure
compliance with all areas relevant to dispatch, including effective control
room interface with City Power.
• Monitor battery voltage and test run emergency generators as per operating
instructions.
• Willingly take responsibility and be accountable for independent and
individual decision making
• Assist in developing and improving operating procedures on an on going
basis.

2. • Monitors and check the availability and readiness of the fire fighting and
detection system for the Station.
