2. errors, through leakdown/pressure decay testing, hydrogen leak
detection with flammable gas sensors, and standard electrical
troubleshooting procedures using calibrated measuring tools.
• Setup of discrete inputs/outputs, analog inputs & outputs (4-20mA,
0-5VDC or 0-10VDC) and digitally controlled devices using
aforementioned control software and Fluke model 744
documenting process calibrator, Druck model DPI-615 pressure
calibrator and various models of Fluke process multimeters.
• Configuration, setup and tuning of all electromechanical devices
involved in process control, such as pressure transducers,
thermocouples (Type K, T, S and J), thermal relays, I/P
transducers, pumps and VFD’s, mass flow controllers, hall-sensor
flow meters, coriolis flow meters, conductivity/resistivity meters,
capacitive and optical fluid level switches, immersion heaters and
resistive heat tapes, etc.
• Configuration, setup and tuning of all mechanical devices
involved in process control, including pressure relief valves, flow
control valves, needle valves, pressure & backpressure regulators,
gas and fluid rotameters, etc.
• Setup & configuration of electrical I/O system, namely National
Instruments FieldPoint modules, Beckhoff EtherCAT BUS system,
and Siemens PLC's.
• Familiarity with PID feedback loop control and tuning, as well as
proprietary software algorithmic control for use in controlling
process variables.
• Familiarity with multiple types of industrial control software,
including: Beckhoff TwinCAT System Manager, OPC Server4 and
KS2000, National Instruments LabView, Bronkhorst FlowDDE32,
FlowPlot and FlowView, Siemens Step7 PLC control software, etc.
• Assemble pressure vessels for explosive atmospheres
• Perform verifications and tests on mechanical and electrical
systems
• Rebuild and calibrate water jet pumps, suspension systems, and
engines
• Assemble and tune racing motorcycles, jet boats, and atv’s
• PC setup and network configuration
• Tubing and pipefitting
