Job Summary:
Responsibilities includes among others providing maintenance
support for field operations in the assigned location or group
of locations.
Equipment maintenance and repair, maintenance budgets,
training, development and competency of maintenance
personnel, staffing and recruiting, quality improvements and
initiatives, process improvements, field technical and
equipment compliance audits.
Works closely with the MSV to ensure preventive maintenance
and modifications are completed according to defined
schedules and processes, and that failed equipment is analyzed
and repaired in a timely manner and as per WS Maintenance
Standard 03.
Directs, maintains, and enforces “Safety” from the location
Maintenance organization. All maintenance facilities must
follow approved safe-work procedures and all equipment must
be maintained in a safe condition. The correct facility
equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE) must be
provided and used.
Ensures that MT/ET/ME’s are adequately trained, equipped,
and motivated so that the SCDP maintenance training
program can be accomplished in a safe, timely, and cost-
effective manner. Follow up to resolve excessive delays in
individual development as identified in the Training database.
Participate & assist in training seminars. Identifies location-
specific maintenance training needs and works with
Maintenance Training function to provide the necessary
training.
Works to develop a motivated and empowered maintenance
workforce in the location(s) through the use of communication
and reward schemes.
Directs and controls location maintenance facilities and
programs to ensure optimization and effectiveness of resources
at all times. Aids Operations Manager with asset utilization &
planning.
Work closely with the Geomarket/Area Maintenance Manager,
Recruiting Organization and Personnel Departments to ensure
that recruiting and staffing needs are well defined and on

Job Summary: Essential Responsibilities and Duties among others:
People & Training: Responsible for managing the training of maintenance staff
and the tracking of their progress in their training programs,
identifies and addresses the technical weakness.
Takes an active part in the quarterly reviews and annual
SLP-3 process for maintenance staff.
Develops the proficiency of maintenance staff in every aspect
of their job by coaching them. Organizes and delivers
training sessions for maintenance staff.
Evaluates the loading of maintenance staff and plans in
advance with the Operation Manager and Geomarket
Maintenance Manager on the headcount requirements
Planning and Scheduling:
Assists the Operation Manager and FSM in the planning for
equipment.
Work closely with the respective operation managers from
each Segments to ensure the maintenance priorities are
always aligned with the operations to deliver equipment
ready when needed.
Plan and schedule maintenance to minimize as practically as
possible and within allocated budgets the time when the
equipment is waiting for Maintenance (Pull Model) in order
to move toward a push mode where equipment is Green Tag
and ready to be handed over to the operations.
Process & Equipment:
Ensure that all maintenance events (STEM’s/Repairs) are
properly reported and documented in active CMMS
(Maximo) and implement process to control that the quality
and accuracy of the data’s entered are in line with Maximo
reporting guidelines.
Monitors service quality results, performs regular failure
analysis and formulates corrective actions. He or she
performs both trend and detailed failure analysis and use
such analysis to drive a program of continuous improvement.
Actively participate in the incident Investigation for all
CMSL and High Po SQ incident related to equipment in the
location to identify the root causes and take appropriate
actions when related to maintenance.
Develops and coaches troubleshooting processes and root
cause analysis to ensure quality repairs, failure analysis and
closure.
Conducts periodic technical audits and take part in QMS
Compliance Assessments within the location and follows up
on maintenance related, remedial action plan closures.
Promotes the move to new technology, standardization and
timely replacement of old technology.
Ensures that the maintenance staff has sufficient hand tools,
test equipment and workspace to work effectively and safely.
Proactively involved in all new technology introduction so
that maintenance staff are appropriately trained.
In coordination with the Maintenance Supervisors ensures
adequate spare parts are available as needed. Always
promotes the "Just in time not just in case" concept by
actively participating in optimization of use of M&S.
Processes are well defined, implemented, understood and
followed by Maintenance Staff to ensure consistency in
Service delivery.
Quality & HSE:
Promotes a safety awareness culture within the maintenance
community.
Supports Management efforts to minimize general Quality
and HSE risks and promote respect, understanding and
adherence to safety regulations.
Trains and develops maintenance staff to conduct hazardous
situation audits / identification.
Uses QUEST advanced features for comparing, assessing and
reporting situations of relevance to the maintenance staff.
Leads by personal example - reporting actively Observation /
Intervention, self- and cross-departmental quality audits.
Maintains strict confidentiality of Schlumberger and client
information and ensures maintenance staff does likewise.
Understands and actively applies the OFS LTI/AA Prevention
Plan.
