• Around 2 am on Thursday, August, 31st, Temple University student Jenna Burleigh
went missing near the school’s campus. Burleigh was a graduate of Souderton High
School and attended Montgomery County Community College (MONTCO) before
transferring to Temple. The 22-year-old Lower Salford woman was last seen with
former Temple student Joshua Hupperterz around this time. Hupperterz, a former
student at Temple, was arrested on Saturday in Paupack Township in connection
with the possible homicide and will be charged. Police believe that they found
Burleigh’s body near Scranton on a lakefront property that belongs to Hupperterz’s
grandmother. Captain John Ryan of the Philadelphia Homicide unit said that the
possible homicide does not look to be premeditated, and it is unclear whether or
not Hupperterz has an attorney. Family, friends and Temple University have
