Proposed Use of Funds

• FAMILY EMERGENCY FUND
  – Financial assistance for families of children with cancer
  – Aim is to stabilize families by easing some of the financial
    burdens caused by child’s diagnosis and ongoing treatment
  – Assistance leaves family better able to care for child
  – Last year, assistance provided to 203 families
  – This year’s budget: $115,000

     attracting new sources
   – Operating with limited resources
   – Raising funds to provide the ongoing support BOTH
     to the increasing number of families of children with
     cancer AND the increasing number of families who
     need financial assistance.
