What Is My Favourite Memory Essay
Whenever you come to visit me in this hospital whilst i lie in this isolated, 'vegetative state'
memories of our times together come rushing back to me.
These memories that I reminisce about are now my life, the only thing I can really, truly connect to.
I recall my favourite days in winter when the light of the day had been replaced by the unrelenting
blackness of the night, and we would sit in the little café. Sitting there with mugs of coffee cupped
between our stone cold hands, the warmth of the fire against our backs slowly warming us up. The
sweet smell of the cinnamon buns that would diffuse around us which made it difficult to resist the
temptation of eating anymore, despite the guilt we should have probably felt about the huge amount
we had already consumed.
The Café that once was filled with our bursts of loud uncivilised laughter from which people could
have probably heard from outside in the pouring rain, was now from what I can imagine just a
lifeless café. There was nothing fancy about this café, no fancy furniture, no white etching upon the
glass, the feeling of just being there together and feeling as if we were away from the loud
intimidating noises of London's streets was what made this café so great.
I recall meeting in the little cafe that was not far from where we both lived every day after our long
days at work.
Whatever the circumstance both of us would be there, so we could reminisce for hours and hours
about our days of chaoticness and madness.
This was until ten years ago, the day when I didn't turn up to the café, the day my life ended
physically and yours mentally.
Now I lie here in this hospital bed, my thoughts disattached from what was my body.
I am locked inside this body which was once mine but now it is a stranger to me and I have no

The creation of the characters of Stella and Lisa, afford Hitchcock the opportunity to radically
translate specific aspects of Woolrich's story while maintaining an overall traditional translation.
There were two scenes where this radical translation was most evident, but first we must understand
the premise of the story. Both It Had to be Murder and Rear Window the stories can be considered
psychological thrillers because they appeal to the audience in a way that has them guessing what

me–downs". When I was assigned to research my name, I had never thought of the importance of

Rear Window (1954) directed by Alfred Hitchcock depicts a house–ridden photographer believing
that he has seen a murder occur in the apartment across the courtyard of his apartment complex.
Throughout the film, there is the constant use of the motif of voyeurism. The motif is used straight
from the start, often dragging the audience into looking into the lives of others just like the main
character, L. B. Jefferies, is doing. Rear Window asserts that people should not keep to themselves,

choose from so I took some time to investigate from the attorney's on which one was the most
interesting case to attend. I also wanted one where there would be a long hearing to maximize the
time I spend on the case (Hemming & Lockhart, 2014). Soon I was direct to a court hearing a case
involving a family business ownership dispute between two brothers. The court was scheduled to be
hearing evidence from both parties before moving on to call on other witnesses linked to the case.
The case was based on the sale of sales without the buyer legally transferring the shares despite of
having all the legal paper work and the seller claiming not to have sold his shares.

Observing the first scene instead of beholding the main character or even side characters, you
recognize the building of the various apartments and the courtyard and then you meet Jeff. Jeff is a

put in danger, when she was caught by Thorwald in his apartment, Jeffries felt helpless. Lisa gains
more power as Jeffries realises he needs her to be his legs and relies on her to do the things he can't.
Jeffries respects Lisa more once she is interested in the murder mystery as she becomes more
involved, coming up with theories, and especially when she broke into Thorwald's apartment.
Jeffries sees her in a different light with new eyes, he feels proud of her and looks at Lisa with
admiration "she's a smart girl, you should have seen her" he tells Doyle. Lisa now holds the power

gang leader in the merciless shootout of the Glenrowan Siege. Kelly's trouble with the law quickly
escalated through indecent behaviour, assault and stock theft to police killer.
Ned Kelly is definitely a villain because of his development of an early endless life of crime. Kelly
did not receive a normal childhood and was instead meddling with the law. The Kelly's were often
in trouble with the police over horse and cattle theft. At the age of fourteen in 1869, Kelly was
arrested and served seven weeks in jail for the alleged assault of Ah Fook, a Chinese pig farmer. At
such a young age, Ned Kelly was already known for his crimes and explains why he is undeniably a
villain. Furthermore, as Kelly grew older his crimes started to worsen. Again in 1869, Ned was
alleged of being assistant to thief turned bushranger Harry Power and was charged for helping out
during some robberies. Due to these interactions with people doing crime, Kelly was further drawn
into the world of crime. Kelly was again jailed in 1870 for three years after assaulting a hawker
(salesperson) and also being in possession of a stolen horse. Ned Kelly's criminal actions didn't end
there. On the 15th of April, 1878, Kelly shot at Constable Alexander Fitzpatrick in the wrist after he
became too friendly with his sister Kate. Kelly's crime rate was endless.Later the Kelly gang led by
their leader Ned Kelly, committed some major robberies in the National Bank branches at Euroa and
Jerilderie. At Jerilderie, the gang even held police and civilians hostage while stealing all the money

1. Introduction
Feminist theory is a supporter of equality for man and women. For such long time, mostly the old
days, there were so many limitations to what a lady should be or permitted to do, throughout the
years with the assistance of education and acknowledgment that all sexual orientations are and
should be equal, this has become less and less over time but it still exist at this very moment. In the
movie "The Accused", Sarah Tobias (Jodie Foster) is ruthlessly assaulted by three men in a bar
while individuals watch and cheer. A district Attorney Kathryn Murphy (Kelly McGillis) takes the
case, however, allows the rapists to receive a mild sentence. A distraught Sarah decides to seek
punishment for the men who witnessed and encouraged the assault. To get justice, Sarah must take
the stand and revisit the night of her attack in this drama based on true events. In this essay, I will
dive into the film The Accused then explain what the feminist theory really means and its
background and lastly, apply the theory to the film to better understand how it works in reality.

After having a bad fight with her boyfriend, Sarah Tobias goes to a bar to sit down to chat with her

story we must understand Austraila before Ned. Australia was first inhabited by the Aborigonals (the
indigenous people) and was left alone by the outside world until Europeans first had set sail for the
country at around 1606. Between 1606 and 1770 an estimated 54 European ships had came to
Australia. Most of these European ships were from the Dutch East India Company and for a small
time became New Holland. It wasn't until August of 1770 that somebody officially claimed
Australia his name was Lieutenant James Cook. Cook had claimed Australia in the name for King
George the Third and renamed Australia to New South Wales. Once claimed, two fleets came to
Australia the first had eleven ships with about 1,350 people on it. The second fleet had provided
food and supplies that were badly needed but many on the second fleet were ill and many were near
death. None of the people on the second fleet were helpful to the colonies. One thing to note is that
