CSIA 485 Project #4 Detailed Assignment Description
Develop a Security Plan and Recommendation Memo to the
CIO. The Plan must communicate the security strategy and
technologies (minimum of 3) you are recommending from
Project1/Project2/Project3. (I have attached the project 1,
project 2 and Project 3 Please look at the attached file in the
post.) Include a brief description of the technologies you are
proposing with associated costs, expected return on investment
(ROI), mitigation of risks, barriers to success. You must also
include a detailed Network Diagram illustrating how this
technology fits into the infrastructure.
The Recommendation Memo is a one page Executive Memo to
the CIO summarizing and introducing the Plan. The
recommendation memo will be on plain white background and
carry the same formatting as a formal letter. You may use one
of the MS Office or similar memo styles that meet this
requirement.
ALL AREA MUST BE MET LINE BY LINE WITHOUT
MISSING A THINY DOT
The Plan (your second deliverable for this assignment) will be a
minimum 5 page, double-spaced paper using Times New Roman
12 font and APA style formatting for citations and references. It
will also include a minimum of 5 references. The Title/Cover
page, illustrations (tables/charts/graphs), network diagram, and
references are not part of the page count but are required for the
assignment. The grading rubric provides additional details as to
what should be included in the paper. Your instructor may
provide an APA style template to use for this paper.
Which means I will be getting two separate documents for this
work. Please this must be done perfectly.
NOTE: There is a continuation of this work.
Review at least two other colleague’s posts. In your response,
discuss any additional content, functional, skills that you
identified from their assessment results and accomplishment
story.

My results when using the Jung Typology Test showed the
extrovert over introversion by 31%, intuitive over sensing by
44%, thinking over feeling by 28%, and Judging over perceiving
by 53% (ENTJ). I believe these personality traits hit me straight
on. ENTJ’s have a natural tendency to marshal and direct. (Jung
Typology Test, 2016). My husband would agree with this
statement. I work hard on trying to step back and let someone
else take the lead as it is often better to let someone else work
the puzzle with you than constantly giving direction. I do
believe all good leaders have a degree of directing but I
disagree with the percentage that it gave me. I believe that my
trait as an extrovert allows me to be perceptive as I constantly
want to know others ideas or way of managing a project or
issue. This would fit into the philosophy that ENTJ’s have a
desire to learn about others ideas as well as learning practical
solutions to pressing problems.
ENTJ career choices will take my leadership qualities into the
direction of management, social services, and technical
science. I feel these are constructive fields that interest me,
giving me the feeling of accomplishment at the end of the day.
I like to incorporate the feeling of accomplishment with doing
something for others, such as my current position of supporting
the US Navy Fleet. The careers outlined for Conventional,
Social, and Investigative (CSI) in the Holland Code are
Registered Nurses, Pharmacists, Computer Science Teachers, or
Library Science Teachers do not interest me. I do not have the
stomach to be a Nurse, in fact the medical field as a whole does
not interest me. A teacher would require too much patience
though I would love to help someone learn something new. I
like to financially guide young persons but I believe that comes
from my prior career as a Stock Broker.
When comparing these traits to my skills; financial, planning,
organizational, and analytical thinking, in the skills application
on Career Quest I found financial management positions that
would interest me. I love to lead and oversee projects. I have a
financial base and knowledge that I have built on the majority
of my life. Taking on the add responsibilities at my current
place of employment demonstrating that I am capable of
managing more than the projects progress but also the financial
functions as well. Taking it to the next level of management is
the next option for me. Being able to use my management skills
within the small team that I work with will demonstrate that I
am ready for management level.

After I completed my self-assessment, I agree with a lot of the
feedback that I received, but there was also some things that I
disagree with. After taking the Humanmetrics Jung Typology
Test, I received ENTJ with Extravert(34%, Intuitive(16%),
Thinking(22%), Judging(6%)). I agree that I am an extrovert
because I tend to be more proactive in certain situations, and I
also overthink my decisions because I over analyze stuff. On
My RIASEC test I received RIC as my Code, realistic,
investigative, and conventional. I do agree with the results but I
feel that I should have gotten Artistic instead of conventional. I
considered myself more of an artistic person but my score was
the lower on that category.
I believe that the self-discovery videos and the assessment
results will provide you with guidance that can help you
develop a future plan for your career. I also believe that the
assessment will provide you with feedback about certain skill
that you may have and polish those skills to make you more
marketable for future employers. The assessment helped me
reflect on some of my weaknesses and I can begin to design a
plan to improve in my weaknesses.
My top five skills are multi-tasking, problem solving,
adaptability, assembling apparatus, organizing task. The only
way I can prove this is by sharing past stories. I worked in a
manufacturing company in the past, where I multitaskwith
different projects, we also had a change in machinery and I was
able adapt to the new machines without any prior training. I
also solved some of their production problems by implementing
new ideas to increase production. I also updated and help
organized their machine shop. So having these skills is essential
for a company because you can help them grow as an
organization

ABSTRACT
Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity (DR/BC) planning is
an issue that students will likely come in contact with as they
enter industry. Many different fields require this knowledge,
whether employees are advising a company implementing a new
DR/BC program, auditing a company’s existing program, or
implementing and/or serving as a key participant in a company
program. Often times in the classroom it is difficult to find real
world practice for students to apply the theories taught. The
information in this case provides students with real world data
to practice what they would do if they were on an engagement
team evaluating a DR/BC plan. Providing students with this
opportunity better prepares them for one of the jobs they could
perform after graduation.

  • 1. CSIA 485 Project #4 Detailed Assignment Description Develop a Security Plan and Recommendation Memo to the CIO. The Plan must communicate the security strategy and technologies (minimum of 3) you are recommending from Project1/Project2/Project3. (I have attached the project 1, project 2 and Project 3 Please look at the attached file in the post.) Include a brief description of the technologies you are proposing with associated costs, expected return on investment (ROI), mitigation of risks, barriers to success. You must also include a detailed Network Diagram illustrating how this technology fits into the infrastructure. The Recommendation Memo is a one page Executive Memo to the CIO summarizing and introducing the Plan. The recommendation memo will be on plain white background and carry the same formatting as a formal letter. You may use one of the MS Office or similar memo styles that meet this requirement. ALL AREA MUST BE MET LINE BY LINE WITHOUT MISSING A THINY DOT The Plan (your second deliverable for this assignment) will be a minimum 5 page, double-spaced paper using Times New Roman 12 font and APA style formatting for citations and references. It will also include a minimum of 5 references. The Title/Cover page, illustrations (tables/charts/graphs), network diagram, and references are not part of the page count but are required for the assignment. The grading rubric provides additional details as to what should be included in the paper. Your instructor may provide an APA style template to use for this paper. Which means I will be getting two separate documents for this work. Please this must be done perfectly. NOTE: There is a continuation of this work.

Reply 1 needed My results when using the Jung Typology Test showed the extrovert over introversion by 31%, intuitive over sensing by 44%, thinking over feeling by 28%, and Judging over perceiving by 53% (ENTJ). I believe these personality traits hit me straight on. ENTJ’s have a natural tendency to marshal and direct. (Jung Typology Test, 2016). My husband would agree with this statement. I work hard on trying to step back and let someone else take the lead as it is often better to let someone else work the puzzle with you than constantly giving direction. I do believe all good leaders have a degree of directing but I disagree with the percentage that it gave me. I believe that my trait as an extrovert allows me to be perceptive as I constantly want to know others ideas or way of managing a project or issue. This would fit into the philosophy that ENTJ’s have a desire to learn about others ideas as well as learning practical solutions to pressing problems. ENTJ career choices will take my leadership qualities into the direction of management, social services, and technical science. I feel these are constructive fields that interest me, giving me the feeling of accomplishment at the end of the day. I like to incorporate the feeling of accomplishment with doing something for others, such as my current position of supporting the US Navy Fleet. The careers outlined for Conventional, Social, and Investigative (CSI) in the Holland Code are Registered Nurses, Pharmacists, Computer Science Teachers, or Library Science Teachers do not interest me. I do not have the
  • 3. stomach to be a Nurse, in fact the medical field as a whole does not interest me. A teacher would require too much patience though I would love to help someone learn something new. I like to financially guide young persons but I believe that comes from my prior career as a Stock Broker. When comparing these traits to my skills; financial, planning, organizational, and analytical thinking, in the skills application on Career Quest I found financial management positions that would interest me. I love to lead and oversee projects. I have a financial base and knowledge that I have built on the majority of my life. Taking on the add responsibilities at my current place of employment demonstrating that I am capable of managing more than the projects progress but also the financial functions as well. Taking it to the next level of management is the next option for me. After taking the Humanmetrics Jung Typology Test, I received ENTJ with Extravert(34%, Intuitive(16%), Thinking(22%), Judging(6%)). I agree that I am an extrovert because I tend to be more proactive in certain situations, and I also overthink my decisions because I over analyze stuff. On My RIASEC test I received RIC as my Code, realistic, investigative, and conventional. I do agree with the results but I feel that I should have gotten Artistic instead of conventional. I considered myself more of an artistic person but my score was
  • 4. the lower on that category. I believe that the self-discovery videos and the assessment results will provide you with guidance that can help you develop a future plan for your career. I also believe that the assessment will provide you with feedback about certain skill that you may have and polish those skills to make you more marketable for future employers. The assessment helped me reflect on some of my weaknesses and I can begin to design a plan to improve in my weaknesses. My top five skills are multi-tasking, problem solving, adaptability, assembling apparatus, organizing task. The only way I can prove this is by sharing past stories. I worked in a manufacturing company in the past, where I multitaskwith different projects, we also had a change in machinery and I was able adapt to the new machines without any prior training. I also solved some of their production problems by implementing new ideas to increase production. I also updated and help organized their machine shop.   • 6. ABSTRACT Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity (DR/BC) planning is an issue that students will likely come in contact with as they enter industry. Many different fields require this knowledge, whether employees are advising a company implementing a new DR/BC program, auditing a company’s existing program, or implementing and/or serving as a key participant in a company program. Often times in the classroom it is difficult to find real world practice for students to apply the theories taught. The information in this case provides students with real world data to practice what they would do if they were on an engagement team evaluating a DR/BC plan.
