Introduction
From the very beginning ,the development of technology ,especially computerise
system truly depending on storage in order to run the system . As a matter of fact ,every
computerise system depends on storage , whether permanent or temporary storage.
Storage is needed by the computer system in order to run according to their task. So , I will
recap the evolving technologies of storage from the bases until to this moment and how
their parts in making our world in a better and advance state of technological growth.
Storage in a system , split into two types:
i)Temporary storage,
ii)Permanent storage. Temporary storage
• Temporary storage , also known as volatile storage .Specifically in a computerise system , temporary
storage is the RAM.
• What is RAM? It stands for Random Access Memory. Which by the definition means a type of computer
memory that can be accessed randomly . Its stores instruction and data temporarily.
>Around 1966,DRAM came in(Dynamic random-access memory). After that, SRAM been introduced.The
DDR in the RAM name stands for Double Data Rate and as usual,the greater the DDR ,the better the
RAM performance,DDR5 is better than DDR3.The current leading-edge RAM is HyperX Beast (T3)
Ram,16GB rated at a whopping 2400MHz,factory speed

• ROM is a permanent storage. Read Only Memory refers to special memory used to store programs
that boot the computer and perform diagnostics. For ROM, the evolving of its technology didn't
went too far from it predecessor, it's still using the same basic principle, thus it can be consider as
the way it is from the early stage.
