PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
01/10-Present American Radio Relay League
Assistant Public Information Coordinator
Job Description: I volunteer my time to promote amateur (also known as ‘ham’)
radio and publicize related public service events and activities in newspapers, on radio,
and on television at the local, state and national levels. I am responsible for two
divisions within my region, encompassing, at least, six counties in South Texas. Public
Information Officers in each county report to me with activities of their local amateur
radio clubs, as well as any activities their local Amateur Radio Emergency Services
groups are engaged in.
04/07-03/08 Francisco R. Canseco for U.S. Congress, 23rd
District of Texas
Faith-Based and Disabled Community Outreach Director
Job Description: Duties included organizing and scheduling events involving candidate
Canseco with the faith-based community. I was also responsible for facilitating dialogue
with regards to concerns within the faith-based community and its representation within
the Bexar County area of the district. This was especially crucial in the protestant
evangelical community as Francisco is Catholic. I also did the same work with regard to
the disabled community.
08/07-11/07 Leadership Institute in Washington, D.C.
College Campus Field Representative
Job Description: My job was to recruit members and organize new, nonpartisan
conservative clubs on college campuses and help to revive old ones where possible. I
also helped to start nonpartisan conservative newspapers on college campuses where
none previously existed and facilitated the speaking engagements of conservative
speakers on campus through a grant program initiated by Leadership Institute. I was
able to restart one club that had been dormant for two years while helping to start
four other clubs on four other campuses during my semester long tenure.

state and federal candidates throughout south Texas. Through the organization, I helped
start and organize local Republican clubs in a grassroots style effort. I was also
responsible for troubleshooting of software issues and handling all media requests and
needs. I also handled calls and meetings with donors and potential donors to the political
action committee.
06/04-11/04 Roger Scott for 20th

volunteer recruitment and organization as well as handling donor questions/concerns.
I also coordinated media events and opportunities. Just as when I worked with
