Contact and trust:-
Contact:-
A contract is simply an agreement between two or more
individuals or entities containing consideration and promises on both
sides .
Trust:-
A trust is one in which a person or entity ( the "settlor" or
"trustor" delivers assets to another person or entity (the "trustee" )who
agrees to hold the assets for the benefit of a third person or entity
("beneficiary") is called trust .
Difference between contract
and trust:-
Contract
 A contract contains an offer, an
acceptance and consideration.
 CONTRACT is always involves at least
two people, which there is an agreement
verbally or written and it is primarily an
agreement or obligation for “goods and
services”.
 In contract, each exchanges promises
to give something of value to the other.
Trust
 A trust has a trustor and a trustee
with a corpus and instructions on
what to do and not to do with the
corpus.
 TRUST always at least three people
or a third party to a beneficiary of
something that the third party will
hold the assets of the beneficiary in
a TRUST.
 A trust is dedicated fund created for
the benefits of a designated
recipients.
Section 491 of PPC
Breach of contract to attend on any supply
wants of helpless person:
 Whoever, being bound by a lawful contract to attend on or to
supply the wants of any person who, by reason of youth, or of
unsoundness of mind, or of a disease or bodily weakness, is
helpless or incapable of providing for his own safety or of
supplying his own wants, voluntarily omits so to do, shall be
punished.
Punishment
 He Shall be punished with imprisonment of either description
for a term which may extend to three months, or with fine
which may extend to ‘[six hundred rupees], or with both.
Ingredients
 This section requires three essentials:--
 1. Binding of a person by lawful contract.
 2. Such contract must be to attend on or to supply the wants of a
person who is helpless or incapable of providing for his own
safety or of supplying his own wants by reason of
 (i) youth, or
 (ii) unsoundness of mind, or
 (iii) disease, or
 (iv) bodily weakness.
 3. Voluntary omission to perform the contract by the person
bound by it.
Criminal Intimidation
 Whoever threatens another with any injury to his person,
reputation or property, or to the person or reputation of any
one in whom that person is interested, with intent to cause
alarm to that person, or to cause that person to do any act
which he is not legally bound to do, or to omit to do any act
which that person is legally entitled to do, as the means of
avoiding the execution of such threat, commits criminal
intimidation.
Criminal Intimidation and
extortion
 Criminal intimidation is closely analogous to extortion. In
extortion the immediate purpose is obtaining money or
money’s worth, in criminal intimidation, the immediate
purpose is to induce the person threatened to do, or abstain
from doing something which he was not legally bound to do
or omit.
Ingredients
 Threatening a person with any injury.
 To his person, reputation, or property; or
 to the person or reputation of any one in whom that person is
interested.

 2. Threat must be with intent—
 to cause harm to that person, or
 To cause that person to do any act which he is not legally bound
to do as the means of avoiding the execution of such threat, or
 to cause that person to omit to do any act which that person is
legally entitled to do as the means of avoiding the execution of
such threat.
 Section 503
“Section 503 PPC: Whoever threatens another with an injury to
his person, reputation or property, or to the person or reputation
of any one in whom that person is interested, with intent to cause
alarm to that person, or to cause that person to do any act which he
is not legally bound to do, or to omit to do any act which that person
is legally entitled to do, as the means of avoiding execution of such
threat, commits criminal intimidation.”
Criminal intimidation
Example
• Section 504
Whoever intentionally insults, and thereby gives provocation
to any person,
• Section 505
that makes creating or promoting “feelings of enmity, hatred
or ill-will between different religious, racial, language or
regional groups or castes or communities” punishable
Section 506
 Punishment for criminal intimidation. Whoever commits the
offence of criminal intimidation shall be punished with
imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to
two years, or with fine, or with both
 If threat be to cause death or grievous hurt, etc. and if the
threat be to cause death or grievous hurt, or to cause the
destruction of any property by fire, or to cause an offence
punishable with death or 1 [imprisonment for life], or with
imprisonment for a term which may extend to seven years, or
to impute un chastity to a woman, shall be punished with
imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend
to seven years, or with fine, or with both.
Section 507: Criminal intimidation by an
anonymous communication.
 Whoever commits the offence of criminal intimidation by
an anonymous communication, or having taken precaution
to conceal the name or abode of the person from whom the
threat comes, shall be punished with imprisonment of
either description for a term which may extend to two years,
in addition to the punishment provided for the offence by
the last preceding section.
Section 508
 Act caused by inducing person to believe that he will be rendered an object
of the Divine displeasure. Whoever voluntarily causes or attempts to cause any
person to do anything which that person is not legally bound to do or to omit to
do anything which he is legally entitled to do, by inducing or attempting to induce
that person to believe that he or any person in whom he is interested will become
or will be rendered by some act of the offender an object of Divine displeasure if
he does not do the thing which it is the object of the offender to cause him to do,
or if he does the thing which it is the object of the offender to cause him to omit
shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may
extend to one year, or with fine, or with both.
 ILLUSTRATION
 (a) A sits dhurna at Z’s door with the intention of causing it to be believed
that, by so sitting, he renders Z an object of Divine displeasure. A has
committed the offence defined in this section.
 (b) A threatens Z that, unless Z performs a certain act, A will kill one of A’s
own children, under such circumstances that the killing would be believed
to render Z an object of Divine displeasure. A has committed the offence
defined in this section
Section 509
Section 509 of the Penal Code (amended in February 2010) gives a
definition of sexual harassment. It also extends the definition not only to
the workplace, but also to private spaces such as homes, and to public
spaces, such as streets, buses, markets and parks.
Bail able or not
The offence is a cognizable, bailable, as well as non-
compoundable which is triable by any Magistrate. Also, a person can
be subject to imprisonment for a term of 3 years of simple
imprisonment including fine.
Punishment
Now under section 509 of Pakistan Penal Code, insulting the modesty of women
or sexually harassing them, is a crime. The perpetrator of this crime may be
punished with imprisonment, which may extend to 3 years or fine up to
PKR 500,000 (5 lakh) or with both..
section 510
Section 510 of Pakistan Penal Code 1860: If a drunken person appears in a public
place, causing annoyance to any person, he can be punished with imprisonment or
fine or both
Punishment of criminal intimidation
Whoever commits the offence of criminal intimidation shall be punished
with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to two
years, or with fine or with both.

  • 6. Contact and trust:- Contact:- A contract is simply an agreement between two or more individuals or entities containing consideration and promises on both sides . Trust:- A trust is one in which a person or entity ( the "settlor" or "trustor" delivers assets to another person or entity (the "trustee" )who agrees to hold the assets for the benefit of a third person or entity ("beneficiary") is called trust .

Difference between contract and trust:- Contract  A contract contains an offer, an acceptance and consideration.  CONTRACT is always involves at least two people, which there is an agreement verbally or written and it is primarily an agreement or obligation for “goods and services”.  In contract, each exchanges promises to give something of value to the other. Trust  A trust has a trustor and a trustee with a corpus and instructions on what to do and not to do with the corpus.  TRUST always at least three people or a third party to a beneficiary of something that the third party will hold the assets of the beneficiary in a TRUST.  A trust is dedicated fund created for the benefits of a designated recipients.

Section 491 of PPC Breach of contract to attend on any supply wants of helpless person:  Whoever, being bound by a lawful contract to attend on or to supply the wants of any person who, by reason of youth, or of unsoundness of mind, or of a disease or bodily weakness, is helpless or incapable of providing for his own safety or of supplying his own wants, voluntarily omits so to do, shall be punished.
  • 10. Punishment  He Shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to three months, or with fine which may extend to ‘[six hundred rupees], or with both.
  • 11. Ingredients  This section requires three essentials:--  1. Binding of a person by lawful contract.  2. Such contract must be to attend on or to supply the wants of a person who is helpless or incapable of providing for his own safety or of supplying his own wants by reason of  (i) youth, or  (ii) unsoundness of mind, or  (iii) disease, or  (iv) bodily weakness.  3. Voluntary omission to perform the contract by the person bound by it.

Criminal Intimidation  Whoever threatens another with any injury to his person, reputation or property, or to the person or reputation of any one in whom that person is interested, with intent to cause alarm to that person, or to cause that person to do any act which he is not legally bound to do, or to omit to do any act which that person is legally entitled to do, as the means of avoiding the execution of such threat, commits criminal intimidation.
  • 13. Criminal Intimidation and extortion  Criminal intimidation is closely analogous to extortion. In extortion the immediate purpose is obtaining money or money’s worth, in criminal intimidation, the immediate purpose is to induce the person threatened to do, or abstain from doing something which he was not legally bound to do or omit.
  • 14. Ingredients  Threatening a person with any injury.  To his person, reputation, or property; or  to the person or reputation of any one in whom that person is interested.   2. Threat must be with intent—  to cause harm to that person, or  To cause that person to do any act which he is not legally bound to do as the means of avoiding the execution of such threat, or  to cause that person to omit to do any act which that person is legally entitled to do as the means of avoiding the execution of such threat.

  • 19. Section 506  Punishment for criminal intimidation. Whoever commits the offence of criminal intimidation shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to two years, or with fine, or with both  If threat be to cause death or grievous hurt, etc. and if the threat be to cause death or grievous hurt, or to cause the destruction of any property by fire, or to cause an offence punishable with death or 1 [imprisonment for life], or with imprisonment for a term which may extend to seven years, or to impute un chastity to a woman, shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to seven years, or with fine, or with both.

Section 507: Criminal intimidation by an anonymous communication.  Whoever commits the offence of criminal intimidation by an anonymous communication, or having taken precaution to conceal the name or abode of the person from whom the threat comes, shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to two years, in addition to the punishment provided for the offence by the last preceding section.
  • 21. Section 508  Act caused by inducing person to believe that he will be rendered an object of the Divine displeasure. Whoever voluntarily causes or attempts to cause any person to do anything which that person is not legally bound to do or to omit to do anything which he is legally entitled to do, by inducing or attempting to induce that person to believe that he or any person in whom he is interested will become or will be rendered by some act of the offender an object of Divine displeasure if he does not do the thing which it is the object of the offender to cause him to do, or if he does the thing which it is the object of the offender to cause him to omit shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to one year, or with fine, or with both.  ILLUSTRATION  (a) A sits dhurna at Z’s door with the intention of causing it to be believed that, by so sitting, he renders Z an object of Divine displeasure. A has committed the offence defined in this section.  (b) A threatens Z that, unless Z performs a certain act, A will kill one of A’s own children, under such circumstances that the killing would be believed to render Z an object of Divine displeasure. A has committed the offence defined in this section

  • 23. Section 509 Section 509 of the Penal Code (amended in February 2010) gives a definition of sexual harassment. It also extends the definition not only to the workplace, but also to private spaces such as homes, and to public spaces, such as streets, buses, markets and parks. Bail able or not The offence is a cognizable, bailable, as well as non- compoundable which is triable by any Magistrate. Also, a person can be subject to imprisonment for a term of 3 years of simple imprisonment including fine.
  • 24. Punishment Now under section 509 of Pakistan Penal Code, insulting the modesty of women or sexually harassing them, is a crime. The perpetrator of this crime may be punished with imprisonment, which may extend to 3 years or fine up to PKR 500,000 (5 lakh) or with both.. section 510 Section 510 of Pakistan Penal Code 1860: If a drunken person appears in a public place, causing annoyance to any person, he can be punished with imprisonment or fine or both Punishment of criminal intimidation Whoever commits the offence of criminal intimidation shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to two years, or with fine or with both.
