What can Creative Commons do for me?
If you want to give people the right to share, use, and even build upon a work you’ve created, you
should consider publishing it under a Creative Commons license. CC gives you flexibility (for example,
you can choose to allow only non-commercial uses) and protects the people who use your work, so
they don’t have to worry about copyright infringement, as long as they abide by the conditions you
have specified.

open source software licenses. All new works
based on yours will carry the same license, so
any derivatives will also allow commercial use.
This is the license used by Wikipedia, and is
recommended for materials that would benefit
