2. Phrasal Verbs
Las frases verbales se
dan entre un verbo y
el complemento de
objeto directo debe
venir después de la
preposición o adverbio
que compone el
phrasal verb.
Ejemplos:
1. Let's check out this store.
2. I put in for a new position
at the company.
3. We managed to put out the
fire.
4. that was a lot to take in.
5. Don't let him get away!

3. Modals Verbs of Obligation
and Advice
Son aquellos verbos que
funcionan como auxiliares, ya
que no pueden funcionar
como verbo principal, es decir,
no funcionan sin otro verbo.
este otro verbo siempre va
después del verbo modal y
está en forma base (infinitio
sin "to").
Ejemplos:
1. Children have to go to school.
2. I must study today.
3. I Must go now.
4. You must go for a play with the
dog at least once a day.
5. You have to pay the ticket to
cinema.

4. Future Tenses
El futuro es aquello que está
por venir, (por eso porvenir es
sinónimo de futuro). Es una
hipotetica línea del tiempo, el
pasado se encuentra detrás
del presente (es lo que ya
sucedió), mientras que el
futuro aparece adelante
(todavía no ha sucedido).
Ejemplos:
1. She is going to pay with a
credit card.
2. I am going to drop off my
prescription over there.
3. I'm going to learn English.
4. I need to get my medicine. I
will go to the pharmacy toninght.
5. I need some cash. I will pay
with my debit card and ask for
cash back.

5. Tag Questions with Be
Sirve para dar continuidad a una conservación,
invita a dar una respuesta. Se puede traducir
como ¿Verdad?
Ejemplos:
1. The pencil is on the desk, isn't it?
2. They are friends, aren't they?
3. The child is in the garden, isn´t he?
4. He is in Europe, isn´t he?
5. He and Mary are good students, aren't they?
