Creating and operating the Riyadh Bus Network is a major project for the capital of Saudi Arabia that will: 1) Create and operate a 100-line bus network with over 1,000 buses to offer modern public transportation integrated with the under construction metro network. 2) Roll out the network in three stages from 2017 onwards followed by a ten-year operation contract. 3) Anticipate over 120 million passenger trips annually starting in 2024.
