INTRODUCTION
C.P. CONSULTANTS Pvt. Ltd. (CPC) is a multidisciplinary consultancy organisation based at New
Delhi. This organisation was nucleated in 1984 and provides consultancy services from “concept
to commissioning” by number of Technocrats and Management personnel under the able
guidance of its Managing Director, Dr. A. Mukherjee.
The project related service generally includes Market Research, Detailed Project Reports,
Preparation of Feasibility Report, Process Design & Engineering, Equipment Procurement
Assistance, and Supervision during Construction, Start-up and Commissioning.
The organisation specializes in undertaking Baseline Surveys, Safety, Health and Environment
research studies including collection and analyses of Environmental Data, Environment Impact
Assessment Studies (Rapid and Comprehensive), Environment Audit, Environment
Management Plan, Consent to Establish, Consent to Operate from State Pollution Control
Board, liaison for local administrative clearances, Safety Audits, (both rapid and
comprehensive), HAZOP Studies, Risk Assessment (Qualitative and Quantitative), Design and
Engineering of Fire Fighting systems as per TAC/ NFPA and Disaster Mitigation/ Management
Plan.
Services provided not only involve own team of experts, collaborating with technical experts or
advisors are also arranged. CPC has an extensive and wide network for obtaining various
primary information services throughout India.
Since its inception the organisation is also providing architectural, structural, mechanical,
electrical and civil engineering all pertaining to the aforesaid industries. CPC also undertakes
trial run studies for evaluation of process parameters for improving or optimizing the total
technology.

for implementing “Fellingsdam-waste water stabilization ponds” from Jarven Ecotech, Sweden.
CPC has been listed as “approved consultant” by the Ministry of Environment and Forests,
Government of India for carrying out Environmental Impact Assessment Studies.

SOCIAL & RURAL DEVELOPMENT
India is still a predominantly agricultural economy, and more than 3/4ths of people still reside
in rural areas. With large human resource capabilities, it presents a huge arena for sustainable
investments. CPC with its social arm “Shristi” has been actively involved in educating, creating
employment opportunities through self help groups and striving for secured financial future for
handicraft artisans through socio-technological & marketing inputs. CPC also supports youth
movement like the Indian Youth Climate Network in spreading awareness about climate change
and preserving biodiversity.

applicable thus saving time and economics.
Since, it’s inception, the organization has a
steered a number of projects in diverse fields at
various stages till commission. An engineering
team along with experts delivers customized
and viable engineering solutions to its clients.
CPC has in-house capabilities to undertake
project profiles, feasibility reports, basic
engineering in all sectors and detailed design
and engineering in selected sectors. CPC has
successfully assisted entrepreneurs and
corporate in setting up plants based on techno-
commercial viability studies. CPC has pioneered
the commercialization of activated carbon from
bamboo with the help of NMBA as well as IIT
Mumbai.
ENVIRONMENTAL STUDIES
In India, the environment related assignments
are largely governed by the need of a party to
show compliance to existing regulations and by
others as to provide base information on
diverse related subjects that are in a form of
data collection, documentation or simply
putting existing records in one place so as to aid
stakeholders in policy or regulations
framework. CPC has been involved in this field
for the last 15 years, successfully completing a
number of assignments. The organisation has
also been engaged by big corporates for their
projects in India. Also, the organisation has
developed expertise and competence in
workplace/ industrial Safety, Health and
Environment jobs carrying out safety audits, risk
assessment studies, etc. The total worth of
surveys, studies done in this area is around

RISK ASSESSMENT & DISASTER
MANAGEMENT
The increasing need for a methodological
assessment of disasters, both man-made &
natural has been voiced all over the world. In
India, the government and other stakeholders
have been lately working in implementing
necessary regulatory framework and social
infrastructure for better preparedness in times
of emergency. The element of Disaster
Management which is now projected as a
specialized subject and is shown as a separate
chapter in many documents was effectively
covered in feasibility report, design and
engineering documents from the beginning by
our organisation as an added dimension. Hence,
the organisation is well equipped to carry out
any type of safety audits, risk assessment,
onsite & offsite emergency plan, environment
impact assessment.

PROCUREMENT ASSISTANCE
The organisation is involved in providing
technical support to private organisation on
deputation basis for design and procurement
services in chemical, petrochemical and allied
industries. The scope of work generally included
providing managerial support, liaison with
suppliers, design investigation and inventory
management. The total worth of surveys,
studies done in this area is around Rs2.50
million till date.
LOGISTICS AND SUPPLY CHAIN
The company has been involved in studies
related to logistics and supply chain
management for private parties. The scope of
work included studying forward and backward
linkages, value additions at various stages,
demand & supply assessment, etc.
FOOD AND AGRICULTURE
The organization has successfully completed
more than 50 studies related to food and
agriculture sector. CPC has a number of experts
in food sectors who have served in various
capacities in manufacturing as well as policy
sector. CPC executed number of studies of
which notable are the “Technology Status of
Isabgol Industry in India” and “Techno-

on Bamboo based Activated Carbon” which
invariably involved good agriculture practice,
cropping pattern, viable species for Indian
