Road users have long been known to fall asleep whilst driving. Driving long hours can induce fatigue causing lack of concentration and occasionally road accidents. Up to 20% of fatal crashes may be linked to driver fatigue. Our model presented a low-cost and simple distributed force sensor that is particularly suitable for measuring grip force and hand position on a steering wheel. The sensor can be used in automotive active safety systems that aim at detecting driver’s fatigue, which is a major issue to prevent road accidents. The key point of our approach is to design a prototype of sensor units, so that it can serve as platform for integrating different kinds of sensors into the steering wheel.

Controlling and Reducing of Speed for Vehicles Automatically By Using Rf Tech...IJERA Editor
For vehicle safety and safety for passengers in vehicle is an important parameter. Most of the vehicles get
accident because no proper safety measures are taken especially at curves and hair pin bends humps and any
obstacles in front of the vehicle. This system can be used for the prevention of such a problem by indicating a
pre indication and also reducing the speed of vehicles by reducing the fuel rate of vehicle. As the action is in
terms of fuel rate so the vehicle automatically goes to control and avoids the accidents. At curves and hair pin
bends the line of sight is not possible for the drivers so the special kind of transmitter which is tuned at a
frequency of 433MHZ are mounted as these transmitters continuously radiate a RF signal for some particular
area. As the vehicle come within this radiation the receiver in the vehicle gets activate. The transmitter used here
is a coded transmitter which is encoded with encoder. The encoder provides a 4 bit binary data which is serially
transmitted to transmitter. The transmitter used here is ASK type (amplitude shift keying) which emits the RF
radiation.
The rain-light sensor supports the field of vision of the driver by detecting the amount of rain and the amount of light and functioning automatically.
Today, one of the biggest problems Vehicle drivers in India are facing during night is the temporary loss of vision due to the Upper beam (high beam) coming from the Vehicle in the opposite direction. Moreover, the victims of this problem are mostly the students who are the backbone of their families. We have decided to undertake this project especially because this problem has become more dominant in recent years. Over five lakh accidents take place in the country annually, out of which, 41% (Approx. 2 Lakh) are due to road mishaps during night, and 18% (Approx. 90,000) are due to the vehicle headlight glare.
This project is targeted to facilitate such buyers so that they also can follow the protocol of Road Safety. Currently there is no provision for switching the headlight beam of the vehicle, automatically in mid-range vehicles.Operated by the Synergy of a Microcontroller and a Sensor, this device is capable of automatically shifting the Upper beam of the vehicle coming from the opposite direction, to the dipper beam, thus eradicating the problem of vision loss and avoiding accidents due to it. This project addresses the solution to the problems stated above by controlling the brightness of headlights using vehicle speed. The Other objective of this project is to develop a system to keep the vehicle secure and protect it by the occupation of the intruders. This technology even better in the future.

Power plants release a large amount of water vapor into the
atmosphere through the stack. The flue gas can be a potential
source for obtaining much needed cooling water for a power
plant. If a power plant could recover and reuse a portion of this
moisture, it could reduce its total cooling water intake
requirement. One of the most practical way to recover water
from flue gas is to use a condensing heat exchanger. The power
plant could also recover latent heat due to condensation as well
as sensible heat due to lowering the flue gas exit temperature.
Additionally, harmful acids released from the stack can be
reduced in a condensing heat exchanger by acid condensation. reduced in a condensing heat exchanger by acid condensation.
Condensation of vapors in flue gas is a complicated
phenomenon since heat and mass transfer of water vapor and
various acids simultaneously occur in the presence of noncondensable
gases such as nitrogen and oxygen. Design of a
condenser depends on the knowledge and understanding of the
heat and mass transfer processes. A computer program for
numerical simulations of water (H2O) and sulfuric acid (H2SO4)
condensation in a flue gas condensing heat exchanger was
developed using MATLAB. Governing equations based on
mass and energy balances for the system were derived to
predict variables such as flue gas exit temperature, cooling
water outlet temperature, mole fraction and condensation rates
of water and sulfuric acid vapors. The equations were solved
using an iterative solution technique with calculations of heat
and mass transfer coefficients and physical properties.
1. CAR REVERSE ALARM
SYNOPSIS
The objective of this project is to give the reverse alarm for vehicle
using the ultrasonic sensor. This project is very useful in vehicle for reverse
purpose and indicates through alarm. Reverse Backing Systems backup
sensors are the answer to your problem. Using ultrasonic waves, the sensors
(whether mounted in the bumper or license plate frame) detect objects
behind you and transmit a signal to either the LCD screen or speaker
depending on the kit that is chosen. Make your daily drive a little easier with
Reverse Backup Sensors from Reverse Backing Systems. This project is
designed by following blocks Micro controller, ultrasonic sensor, Driver
circuit, alarm.
2. BLOCK DIAGRAM
WORKING PRINCIPLE
The ultrasonic wave is spread in the air and hit the nearest object and
reflected from the object which is received by the ultrasonic receiver. These
electrical signals are very small mill voltage signal, so it is given to amplifier
circuit. The amplifier circuit is constructed with operational amplifier which
acts as power amplifier. Then the amplifier signal is given to signal
conditioning unit which also constructed with operational amplifier. In this
circuit operational amplifier acts as a comparator and generates the square
pulse given to control unit. As per program the relay driver circuit will be
3. activated. The driver circuit is constructed with transistor which acts as
switch to turn ON and turn OFF the alarm.
From this, the microcontroller monitors object present or not and the
car. So if the car comes near the wall or any object the alarm makes the
sound for to indicate the driver to stop the vehicle.
