In 2010, Coworking Spain was started to address problems and solutions. From 2011-2012, interest grew from governments, companies, press, and universities as the coworking movement expanded. In May 2012, the First National Coworking Spain Conference was held. From May-October 2012, a Coworking Spain survey was conducted and the Coworking National Association was consulting and providing workshops while also conducting marketing actions for companies and expanding coworking brands. After Coworking Europe Paris, new coworking brands opened, national directories linked, a new platform included coworkers, and CwSC 2013 Barcelona was started.
