Rajesh Timane successfully completed Columbia University's 14-week online Coursera course called "The Age of Sustainable Development" with distinction in February 2015. The course introduced the field of sustainable development by describing the interactions between the global economy and the environment, addressing issues of sustainable and socially inclusive development. It was directed by Professor Jeffrey Sachs of Columbia University's Earth Institute.
