Banana is a countable noun.
A countable noun can be
1. singular (apple) or

Rice is an uncountable noun.

Uncountable nouns have only one form.

Uncountable nouns are things we
cannot count.
We cannot say ‘one rice’, ‘two rices’,
etc.
