• Reporting to the Project Manager; deployed to West Africa to oversee all aspects of Health & Safety managing team of
5 including Safety Coordinator and Safety administrators, with operational responsibility for around 614 employees (590
nationals and 27 expatriates).
• Safeguarding company operations from the current threat posed by the Ebola virus in West Africa, development and
implementation of procedures and protocols.
• Reviewed and developed highly effective Health & Safety Management Plan and procedures, safeguarding adherence
to OHSAS 18001 ISO 14001 standards, actively participating in regular audits twice a year.

• Secured approval for plan for Tenova working in close relation to Sasol-the client standards and procedures.
