1. A coral reef is a community of living organisms. It is made up of
plants, fish, and lots of other animals. Coral reefs are some of the
most diverse ecosystems in the world. They are home to about 25% of
all marine life! The largest coral reef is the Great Barrier Reef in
Australia.
The second largest coral reef can be found off the coast of Belize, in
Central America.
Other reefs are found in Hawaii, the Red Sea, and other areas in
tropical oceans.
2. Some fishing practises are very threatening to the coral reef like cyanide and
dynamite fishing these are why some of the coral reefs are disappearing also
industrial waste and stuff like oil are being dumped in to the sea which is
also affecting it.
3. The coral reef is one of the most important ecosystems in the
world as many creatures live there and it is home to lots and lots
of living organisms also it cover about 25 percent of the sea bed.
