Toto and their friends were unable to sleep due to intense heat waves. Toto had a dream about using solar energy as an alternative energy source. They decided to promote the use of flexible solar panel roofing which can generate enough electricity to power a home while also reducing electricity bills and carbon emissions. Their efforts helped spread awareness of this renewable energy option. As a result, more homes adopted solar panels which improved living conditions and allowed Toto to sleep comfortably even during hot summer nights.
On September 20th, 2016 nearly 40 people gathered at the Shoreview Community Center to learn about community solar gardens and network with experts and developers. Click here to learn more.
Our mission is to create a planet run by the sun. This means that everyone,
from solar installers and sales people to CEO Lynn Jurich, shows up to work
because they are driven by passion and purpose. Yet mission alone does
not make change. At Sunrun, we feel the urgency of the public’s desire for a
100% renewable and resilient energy future. Our roofs have the potential to
harness the sun’s abundant energy through solar panels, and home batteries
can store that power for when it’s needed, delivering clean energy that
powers our lives. A future where energy is affordable and accessible for all

Dye-Sensitized Solar Cell (DSSC) Module:
The students study the concept of using dyes to plant dyes to capture the solar energy to convert it into electrical energy simulating the natural process “photosynthesis”. They use the workshop-gained knowledge in DSSC to invent new products.
Our project idea is about using of organic plants pigments in the science of lighting technology. We designed a garden chair that works on solar energy.
A comprehensive resource outlining and exemplifying active concern for our environment.
Why? Looking after a wonderful world specially designed for human beings; human rights & responsibilities, respecting one another & having freedom to choose involves caring for your country
What? litter pick-ups, designing community bins, various websites/videos raising highlighting issues, awareness-raising campaigns
How? Bags of inspiration for doing something in the style of Martin Luther King
Who? You - how will you respond. Doing nothing is not an option
See related Litter Article, which is evaluated as part of the lesson scheme of work.

This project idea is about using of plant pigments (such as grass pigment) in many application. We concentrated in our project on operating of the mall doors using DSSC technique .
