IBM Interconnect 2016. This session outlines the offerings and initiatives that IBM provides around cloud and "as-a-service" messaging. We explain their roles and how they work together to deliver agility to business, while retaining the mission-critical reliability that enterprises have come to expect of IBM messaging. Topics include the work we are doing in IBM MQ Enterprise messaging to facilitate its deployment in public and private IaaS clouds, the use of MQ in Docker and how we are making it easier to build self-service deployments on-premise, the new MQ Light API and how it can be exploited from IBM Bluemix and "fast-speed of IT" systems of engagement, the MQ Light Service for IBM Bluemix and the work we are doing with the Apache Kafka project.
10 Lessons Learned from Building Cloud Native Middleware Microservices. Conference Talk at O'Reilly Software Architecture April 2017 in New York, USA.
Abstract:
Microservices are the next step after SOA: Services implement a limited set of functions; services are developed, deployed, and scaled independently; continuous delivery automates deployments. This way you get shorter time to results and increased flexibility. Containers improve things even more, offering a very lightweight and flexible deployment option.
In the middleware world, you use concepts and tools such as an enterprise service bus (ESB), complex event processing (CEP), business process management (BPM), or API gateways. Many people still think about complex, heavyweight central brokers. However, microservices and containers are not only relevant for custom self-developed applications but are also a key requirement to make the middleware world more flexible, Agile, and automated.
Kai Wähner shares 10 lessons learned from building cloud-native microservices in the middleware world, including the concepts behind cloud native, choosing the right cloud platform, and when not to build microservices at all, and leads a live demo showing how to apply these lessons to real-world projects by leveraging Docker, CloudFoundry, and Kubernetes to realize cloud-native middleware microservices.

Content Supply Chain Management White PaperSigniant
There is a well worn phrase that “content is king” and this remains as true as it ever was except that realizing content’s value is now a whole lot more complicated.
Content can be entertainment - a movie like Avatar, a sports highlight from the World Cup, an episode of the Simpsons. It can be a commercial, a business briefing, a financial report, a satellite map, a medical image or amateur video. A value may be attached to that content by the owner, publisher and ultimately the audience/consumer and may be enhanced by additional content or the context in which it is presented. In essence content is information and in a world of information technology, content needs to be manipulated as information. There is more content than ever and many new ways to consume that content – thus the complexity of managing the flow of that content throughout the supply chain - from creation to the consumer.
If you want to understand the true value of your content, develop a definitive strategy to maximize its value and understand the processes required to deliver back a significant return, you have found the right resource.

Extending the Value of Content in Enterprise Systems with Web Content ManagementScott Abel
Presented by Eric Gott at Documentation and Training West, May 6-9, 2008 in Vancouver, BC.
As we all know, creating training materials and documentation is an expensive and time-consuming process. If your editorial content, training materials, online courses, or user generated content reside in disparate sources such as Web sites, intranets or portals, you are losing significant potential value of this information. The RedDot Web Content Management solution will allow you to access all your valuable content, regardless of where it is stored, in a single easy-to-use interface.
Integrating a WCM solution with Web 2.0 functionality allows your organization to optimize your documentation and training efforts through collaboration, content re-use, interactive web-based training, user-generated content, forums, and many other tools.

smoother , easier and user friendly \"Remote Server Administration\".
How it works : It works on two tier architechture commonly known as Client-Server Model
which internally leverages one of the Protocol(i.e. Set of rules for particular process) named as -
RFB (Remote Frame Buffer) Protocol.
In Two Tier Model :
Benefits to E-commerce :

which was by later on owned by AT &T with its original founders. Nowadays, it has been
converted into a company named as \"RealVNC\" with official website as www.realvnc.com
with registered trademark as VNC in US and other countries.
2)WinSCP : It is a File Transfer utility programs which is also known as Windows Secure Copy.
It is an free open source software SFTP, FTP, WebDAV and SCP client for Windows. It mainly
enables the user to transfer the data securely from Windows to remotely accessed server machine
drive locations. It also offers the feature of File Manager and File synchronization.
How it works : It uses secure way to transfer it via SSH Protocol (Secure Shell) and supports
SCP Protocol in addition to SFTP. It authenticates the transfer via usage of SSL/TLS client
certificates. It maintains the queue of the files to be transferred using various n/w protocols
which can be resumed and scheduled by maintaining traces over file on the network.
How it benefits e-commerce platform :
Manufacturer Information : It is an open source software, which is managed by an Forum or an

Neuro-symbolic is not enough, we need neuro-*semantic*Frank van Harmelen
Neuro-symbolic (NeSy) AI is on the rise. However, simply machine learning on just any symbolic structure is not sufficient to really harvest the gains of NeSy. These will only be gained when the symbolic structures have an actual semantics. I give an operational definition of semantics as “predictable inference”.
All of this illustrated with link prediction over knowledge graphs, but the argument is general.

The number $200 / ‘transaction’ is very well accepted in the industry .. It does vary based on variable --- International vs. Domestic vs. Intra-cityTape type ----- SD / HD / Hard Drive / Reuse vs. archive/storeCourier on plane CustomsDoes not account for the cost of Tape InfrastructureBut the number .. $200 is pretty safe for generic modeling … it could be $100 or it could be $400 .. Manager Peering Module (MPM) is an optional software module that enables Managers to view and control Media Agents and Jobs on other Managers - allowing Signiant powered content networks to share content. Connecting Managers and Media Agents is based on the Cross Trust established by exchanging certificates. Once the Agents certificates are imported into a foreign manager, simultaneous Agent and Job control from more than one manager is enabled. Establishing Cross Trust relationships is simple through the GUI and administrators can even set the level of authorization (monitor vs. control) on a per agent basis.
This demonstrates our ability to enable customers to remotely manage their content without involving Akamai (which would be costly and non-scalable). This could be a significant competitive differentiator for Akamai by providing a suite of remote data management/storage services.
