BACKGROUND
It was built to
commemorate the
30th anniversary of
Malaysia-China
diplomatic
relations.
Symbolization:
Friendship and
exchange of
political,
economic and
cultural ties.
Completed in 2005
Opened on 18th May 2006
by YAB Chief Minister of
Sarawak.

10. The Zheng He Statue
Zheng He was a Hui, born 1371 in Yunnan Province, Southwest China.
An admiral, diplomat and explorer during China's Ming dynasty.
Started the world’s first biggest naval expedition (1405).
Made one last voyage (1431-1433).
His fleets visited more than 37 countries in the South China Sea,
Indian Ocean, Arabian Sea, Mediterranean Sea and Africa.
Made seven voyages within 23 years.
Malay Annals says; he escorted a contingent of 500 maidens together with
princess Hang Li Po to marry the Sultan Mansur Syah of Malacca.
The maidens settled in Bukit Cina, Malacca.
Descendants of these mixed marriages with local natives in Malaysia are
known today as “Baba and Nyonya”

a Tourism park than a community park, it
doesn’t offer any facilities of activities. All you
are going to do is #SELFIE, #WEFIE and shits
along the line with the “OMGSOCOOL” statues.

it’s even a community park but
whatever, it’s our last shot, we
gotta do what we gotta do.
However, it is still classified under
Community park because it’s built close
enough to the residential areas. The
residents nearby are most likely to go there
just for a morning/evening walk as they are
probably tired of seeing those statues all the
@#%& time.
