This document reflects on the research group CARWG and conservation agriculture in southern Africa. It lists the current research organizations working in the area, including ICRISAT, CIMMYT, ILRI, ICRAF, CIAT, FANRPAN, and GART. It notes that collaboration is encouraged by funding but that no research projects or trials are implemented together and regional projects do not engage actively with CARWG. It questions why there is not more collaboration and what can be done to improve collaboration going forward.
