As a result, applications become locked into a specific device and more time is spent on porting for each sensor instead of focusing on creating the value added smart data for the cloud. The answer: OSGi enabled M2M aggregators and gateways. Using a live demonstration and code snippets, this presentation demonstrates how OSGi can be leveraged to abstract sensors and sensor protocols into dynamic services, freeing developers to focus on creating smart data for the cloud.
