Martin Wickramasinha is considered the most famous novelist in Sri Lanka. Though he only studied up to grade 5, he wrote many influential books in Sinhala literature, Buddhism, and philosophy that have been translated into several languages. C.W.W. Kannangara introduced free education from pre-school to university when he served as the first minister of education in Sri Lanka. This revolutionized education and allowed many rural children to become doctors, engineers, judges and other professionals, benefiting the country greatly. The author considers both of these men their favorite people for their significant contributions through writing and education reform.
Mustafa Al-Kasabi was a teacher, imam and preacher of Al-Nafati Masjid in Andalusia. Writer born within the ancient city of Tripoli, he was an orphan parent since childhood.person who studied and attended the Masters at the college of Leeds, Britain, returned to the home. After the discovery the oil in the Alsonosi eraAs he wrote the series of English language books for the Libyan schools. His dream taught all Libyans at all levels and build English to increase their culture and the breadth of their perceptions. He first designed curricula series and books to teach English in the Arab world. He established several schools such as the Al Qasabi English Language Centre in the New Tripoli College.He volunteered according to the request neighbours and managed the masjid for a limited period. He remained a simple, and humble man who loved religion, education and goodness and helped others until last breath of his life and he passed away in the seventh of December 2018.
The Story of Mitch & Abbey: On their way to becoming Mr. and Mrs.Kaylene Friesen
Mitch & Abbey were married on June 13, 2015, near Mishawaka, Indiana. Since quite a few of Mitch's friends and family were not able to attend the wedding, Craig and Kaylene hosted a "California Celebration" at ECCO near Oakhurst on July 11, 2015.
We shared this slideshow at the CA Celebration and it covers the years before Mitch & Abbey met and shows some of the things that they had in common...even though they didn't know each other yet.

He explained the scientific approach to quality improvement, which involves systematic performance analysis, testing and learning, and implementing change ideas. He also highlighted the importance of client focus and a team approach to quality improvement.

Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.

1. My favorite person is Martin Wickramasinha. He was born
in 1998 in Galle. He studied up to grade 5 class only but he
is considered as the most famous novelist in Sri Lanka, As
well as a philosopher, because he wrote a number of books
in Sinhala literature, Buddhism and Philosophy. Some of
his novels have been translated in to several foreign
languages. ‘Gamperaliya’, ‘Madoldoowa’ and etc. Even
Today no one has surpassed his books.
2. He is C.W.W. Kannangara. He was born in 1918 at
Ambalangoda. He studied at his village school and later
joint Richmond College, Galle. He was a very clever
student both education and sports. Later he became a
teacher and lawyer. He entered in politics and became the
first minister of Education in Sri Lanka. He introduced free
education from pre-school to university, free text book,
uniforms, midday meals, central school , scholar ship
examination an etc. He did a great service to motherland. It
was revalution because the village children and rural
became doctors, proctors, engineers, judges, directors,
secretaries, administrators , professors andpoliticians. We
must respect this proud son of mother soil.
