- Discuss different ways we can compliment people. Person’s appearance Personal possessions Personal traits Personality Talents Skills 2. Pass out post-it notes. Have children chose one student in the class and write a compliment about that person. This should be done using a class list, so everyone gets a compliment.
- Using popsicle sticks, have children draw out a compliment and then give it to someone in the class.
- Show the children that this will be available in the classroom for them to use daily. They can give it to the person after they are finished. Teachers can decide whether to hang them up or hand them out to the children.
