Peter Børre Eriksen has extensive international experience in electricity and gas transmission planning through his roles as the Danish delegate for electricity transmission planning in Europe and Scandinavia from 2012-2017 and the Danish delegate for gas transmission planning in Europe from 2014-2017. He has also organized and led international technical events and workshops. Domestically, he has led the development of analysis departments at Energinet and Eltra, totaling about 25 employees, and has experience analyzing power markets, transmission systems, and challenges related to increasing renewable energy. He has developed mathematical models related to power systems, environmental impacts, and other sectors and has experience preparing analyses to support decision making.
