                                     We use comparative to
                                      compare two things or
                                    people which are different.




E.g: An elephant is bigger than a
mouse.



   We use superlative to say
  that something or some in a
        group is unique.
                                     E.g: Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Super Sport
                                     is the fastest car in the world.
2. FORM

ADJECTIVE                COMPARATIVE               SUPERLATIVE


One-Syllable Adjectives ADJ+-ER + THAN            THE+ ADJ+-EST
                        e.g: A Renault is CHEAPER e.g: Pau Gasol was the
                         than a Ferrari.           TALLEST in his class.
2 and 3 syllables        MORE + ADJ. + THAN        THE + MOST + ADJ.
Adjectives               e.g: A village is MORE    e.g: A house in the mountain
                         peaceful THAN a city.     is the MOST peaceful place
                                                   to live.


         MORE EXAMPLES:

         Pau Gasol is TALLER THAN Juan Carlos Navarro.

         Ferrari is one of THE MOST EXPENSIVE cars in the world.
