1. Comparative and superlative forms are used to compare two or more things. Comparative compares two items, while superlative compares an item to a whole group. 2. Comparative forms are created by adding "-er" to one-syllable adjectives and using "more" with adjectives of two or more syllables. Superlative forms are created by adding "-est" to one-syllable adjectives and using "most" with adjectives of two or more syllables. Some adjectives are irregular. 3.
