It appoints and trains staff on BEE codes and conducts audits. ABCforBEE measures company BEE compliance across seven pillars: ownership, management, employment equity, skills development, preferential procurement, enterprise development, and social investment. It works with companies of all sizes to establish their BEE level and provide a final score and verification certificate.

 Enterprise Development – What efforts are made by entity to
develop external enterprises?
 Social Investment – Entity’s contribution toward social causes.

7. HOW ABC CONDUCT VERIFICATIONS
 Step1
 Establish if the entity is:
 Exempted (<R5 Million turnover)
 Qualifying Small Enterprise (R5 Million –
R35 Million)
 Generic (>R35 Million)
 Sign appropriate documentation and
agreement.

8.  HOW ABC CONDUCT VERIFICATIONS
 Step 2
 Collation of documentation.
 Questionnaire based.
 Personnel are trained to assist with collation
at additional cost.
 Timeframe to finalise verification is
negotiated between parties.

Rating phase.
Documentation interrogation.
In loco inspection date.
