This document discusses the impacts of increasing urbanization on animal habitats. As the human population grows and urban areas expand, more natural lands are being developed, destroying habitats for animals. This can lead to animals losing their homes and food sources, increasing deaths and potentially causing species extinction if prey animals are affected. The document proposes that certain large areas of land be set aside exclusively for wildlife where development is prohibited, and that builders reuse existing structures rather than developing new lands, in order to protect animal habitats while still allowing for urban growth. Relocating animals to protected lands is also suggested to reduce habitat loss impacts.
