AUDIENCE FEEDBACK
By Aaron Pharaoh
 Our target audience had been people with an
interest in crime movies, we had aimed to do
this by making many aspects of the trailer
familiar to the audience so that the genre can
easily be identified.
 There had been many issues with our film
trailer but overall from the feed back received
we had achieved our goal of appealing to
people interested in crime movies.

STRENGTHS
 I had asked one open question “what are the strengths
and weaknesses of this trailer here is what we got
back.
 The shots used in the trailer had been what people
found most appealing we had used a range of
“different shots and angles in order to increase the
appeal of the trailer”.
 The music had suited the genre well and so kept the
interest of our target audience
 Cliché characters had been used which had worked
well with the „angry police chief‟ which made our
audience easily understand the conventions of this
genre.
 The audience stated that the cuts in-between our
trailer had also worked well as the trailer picked up
near the end of the trailer making the overall pacing
even and appealing conforming to conventions of
WEAKNESSES
 The titles had not been as appealing and had
seemed quite simple our audience particularly
stressed that we should have used a different font
and had probably used a background for our trailer.
 The lighting often had been too bright which had
taken away from feel of the trailer which should have
been quite dull and grey.
 Length of black screens was also highlighted as a
negative as the audience felt that it had been black
for too long and this took away from the overall
pacing of the trailer
