● The cover letter briefly describes who you are and some of your skills

● Never cut and paste certain parts of your resume into the cover letter.

● Don’t be doing things on your own that’s out of the way.
● Don’t be impatient.
● Don’t slouch when your waiting.
● Do not fidget.
16. How to act: Reflection On How To Act
Never be late and show up on time. Try to make progress with the people who’s around you. Be
understanding with the elders or the people who works in that building. Be friendly and put a great big
smile on your face but don’t make it be a smile that’s out of proportion. Be respectful to the people
around you. Let them know that you are there to work and be at your best behavior.

17. What to do during an interview
● An interview is a face to face consultation for the employer to talk to a potential employee
● During the interview it is important to ask for clarification if needed
● Be honest during your interview
● Stay true to the reason why your their
● Always answer questions with your audience in mind
● Avoid topics that can potentially not get you the job
● You should remain confident from the time you walk into the interview and until you leave
● Be prepared for any strange questions
● Be prepared to answer any questions that you may not have thought off
● Be on time
● Shake hands
● Be respectful
● Follow directions and smile

● Don’t pull out your phone or any other devices during an interview unless asked to do
19. Interview Summary
During an interview you should remain confident, respectful, honest and comfortable. You should also be
on time or early dressed appropriately. Make eye contact with your potential employer, shake their
hand, sit up straight, know when to stop talking and also know when it’s ok to talk a little bit more. After
the interview is over shake their hand again, smile, thank them for their time, and leave confidently.
