This document provides instructions for an activity involving 16 task cards that ask students to identify common and proper nouns. Students will read each sentence on the cards and determine whether the underlined noun is common or proper by placing their pencil in the correct hole punch. The teacher should cut out and laminate the cards, circling the correct answers, while the student's instructions are to read each sentence and have their partner check their answer before switching cards.

There are 16 task cards to review common and proper
nouns. The students will read the sentence and decide if
the underlined noun is common or proper.
Teacher Instructions:
1. Cut each card. Punch a hole in each apple.
2. On the back of each card, circle the correct answer.
3. Laminate.
Student’s Instructions:
1. Read the sentence.
