Electronic Mail or technically known as
“email” is a method of exchanging messages
from a sender to one or more recipients.
Wiki
A collaborative Web site comprises the
perpetual collective work of many authors.
Similar to a blog in structure and logic, a
wiki allows anyone to edit, delete or modify
content that has been placed on the Web
site using a browser interface, including the
work of previous authors
Social bookmarking
Social bookmarking is to examine how they
work. Basically links are listed on a
network, then whoever has access to that
network can search for links that pertain to
the keywords that person is searching for.
HTML
Short for HyperText Markup Language, the
authoring language used to create
documents on the World Wide Web. HTML is
similar to SGML, although it is not a strict
subset.
Podcast
A digital recording of music, news or other
media that can be downloaded from the
internet to a portable media player. The
term originated from “P.O.D.”, meaning
Portable On Demand, and “cast”, relating
to the term broadcast.
Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP)
Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) is a
methodology and group of technologies for
the delivery of voice communications and
multimedia sessions over Internet Protocol
(IP) networks, such as the Internet.
Online Chat
The term online chat is used to refer to any
type of communication that needs the
internet to take place. This type of
communication usually offers real time and
direct transmission of text based messages.
WWW
World Wide Web or technically known as
“www” is a system usually accessed via
internet. With a use of a web browser, an
individual can view websites that contain
images, pictures and videos.
Streaming
Data streaming or streaming is a file
commonly seen in the internet in forms of
video streaming and others, without even
downloading the file.
Blog
The word blog is used to refer to a website
that contains a writer's own
experience, observation or opinions. This
word is also used as a verb in reference to
maintaining or adding new entries to a
blog.
Social Networking
Social networking are websites wherein we
are able to create public profiles and share
our interest, post our real life backgrounds
and mingle with other people through
internet.
URL
Uniform Resource Locator abbreviated as
URL also known as web address. A character
that directs you to a specific web address. It
is located on top inside an address box.
Web feed

• A web feed is are data„s that updates
users frequently. It is a format when you
want to syndicate news and other web
content.
