   You must separate coordinating adjectives
    with a comma.




The Rule
   Don’t Forget: an adjective is a word that
    describes a noun!!

   Coordinating Adjectives are two or more
    adjectives that “separately” change a
    noun. If you can put an and or a but
    between two adjectives, you probably
    need a comma between them.




What is a Coordinating Adjective?
   Mr. Buckwalter is a tall distinguished
    fellow.

   Mr. Buckwalter is a tall and distinguished
    fellow.

   Mr. Buckwalter is a tall, distinguished
    fellow.




Examples
   Mr. Buckwalter lived in an old dilapidated
    house.

   Mr. Buckwalter lived in an old and
    dilapidated house.

   Mr. Buckwalter lived in an old, dilapidated
    house.
