This document provides instructions for creating and sharing comics using Bitstrips. It describes how to create comics with multiple panels, copy and paste characters and scenes between panels, and delete elements. It also explains how to publish a comic, find the embedding code, and paste that code into other web pages or a wiki page to share the comic.

Building A Bitstrip Comic
1. Determine if you want to make your own account or if you
would like to use Beth’s account. Beth’s log‐in information:

2. Choose CREATE, then Comic.
3. When you have determined the number of panels you want, you can designate it.
To begin, I would recommend one. You can
build and create more. Try to pre‐plan this
as much as possible.

Making a Comic with Multiple Panels
1. When you have determined the number
of panels you want, you can designate it. To
begin, I would recommend one. You can
build and create more. Try to pre‐plan this
as much as possible.
2. Copying Scenes and People
Click on the scene, person, or the whole comic
> Select Copy
> Move the curser to the next panel
> Select Past
3. Deleting Something
> Select what you want to
delete with your cursor
> Select the trash
** Remember if you do something that you do not want to do, you can UNDO

Embedding Code
1. Publish Your Comic Strip
> Log into Bitstrips
> Select My Stuff (Left Side)
> Select My Strips (TOP)
> Select the strip that you want to publish by clicking on the title of the strip
Check and see if it is what you want. If not select edit and edit your comic, save
what you have done.
> Select PUBLISH NOW (You can select the genre & tags for your cartoon)
2. Find the Embedding Code
> Select Share
> Go to Blog/Post It
> Select the Strip Viewer or Image Code
3. Copy and paste the code into a web page that you want.
> Select All ‐ the code (Highlight or Ctrl A)
> Copy it ‐Options (Right Click or Ctrl C)
Embed into the WIKI page
1. Open the Wiki Page to your page.
2. Embed into WIKI
> Select EDIT This Page (near the top)
Put your curser where you think you want the cartoon.
> Select the Widget Icon the tool bar. It looks like a TV.
