Mean?
RED BLUE

• Aggressive, Bold, Sexy
• Red is a color that is vibrant and screams “look at me”
• If you are going for a modern look, add a touch of red into your logo
• Red is not a good choice if you are trying to be easy on the eyes,
however, adding hints of red tones to a website or logo can enhance
certain keywords or phrases

4. ORANGE
• Warm, Inviting, Subtle
• Orange is a color that is a cross between two colors that can be
quite invasive and its no wonder that it is so pleasing to the eye
• If you are representing a community or you are trying to represent
a space that “feels like home” orange can help you do that
• If you are looking for a more up to date take on orange, try using it
as an accent color, or even pairing it up with a bolder more
demanding color to balance out the message

5. YELLOW
• Bright, Young, Playful
• Yellow is a color that gives off a youthful (almost childish)
feeling
• If you decide to add yellow to any design, try to use it in
moderation unless your company is focused on youth

6. GREEN
• Stability, Sustainable, Natural
• GREEN is a color that represents nature, money and stability
• People will look for a connection between your company and the
environment if you include a lot of green tones in your logo
• Likewise, if you want to establish a sense of community look no further
than a green background or text

7. BLUE
• Soothing, Innovation, Intelligence
• Blue is an interesting color and its message depends on the shade of blue
you use
• A lighter blue gives a feeling of comfort, a dark blue gives a feeling of
higher education and a bright blue gives us the feeling of something
new and innovative
• Choose your shade wisely and it will help add to your website or logo
• Logos/Things that are BLUE:
8. PURPLE
• Prestigious, Royal, Mystery
• Purple is a color that conveys wealth, mystery, and power.
• Beware darker shades of purple, they give us a more negative
message if the purple is too dark.
• Use purple as a main color and accent it with a subtle color such as
white or yellow.
• Logos/Things that are PURPLE:
9. BLACK
• Power, Elegance, and Death
• Black is a color that can be looked at as negative, however, black
also represents a sense of power, elegance, and prestige
• If you are going use Black in your logo, use it to accent a color that
is not as strong
