2. MAKE-UP
• The person who was initially going to help us with our make-up was unavailable on the day of
filming, instead of rescheduling I volunteered to do the make-up instead. Below is how I
achieved our look:
• I first put talcum powder and blue eye shadow into a tub and mixed it together, once mixed I
lightly wet a face sponge so that it would apply better and then put it on all of our faces, as a
base, to give us a deathlike pallor.
• I then applied black eye shadow around the eyes to make them look sunken.
• I decided that we still did not look dead enough so I added more black eye shadow around the
cheekbones, temple and nose as these are cartilage areas and would therefore look sunken on
a deceased corpse.
• After we had finished with the make-up we then flung ketchup (as we were unable to find fake
blood) at each other to give a blood splattered effect.
• Finally, after we had gotten into position for filming, our friend Katie sprinkled white lily petals on
myself and Freya as the flower had connections to death as it means innocence after death

connotes mystery and evil
therefore displaying his
lack of innocence.

For my make-up I also decided to add cream
to my lips and then add the talcum powder and
eye shadow mix on top to make my lips look blue
and therefore deceased
