This document discusses the experience and process of Deputy Bryon O'Neil in using a FARO X330 laser scanner for scanning crime and crash scenes.  Resolution : The resulting scan resolution. You can
select from1/1, 1/2, 1/4,1/5, 1/8, 1/10, 1/16, 1/20 and 1/32
by using the slider.
 Quality: Controls the rate of data capture. Quality
(noise level) vs. Speed (time)
 Scan Duration: Approximate scan time.
 Scan Size: Numbers of point in horizontal and
vertical axes
 Point Distance: Point spacing at known distance.
