experience. it involves two critical processes: accommodation and assimilation.
2. - WHAT IS AN ACCOMMODATION PROCESS?
The acommodation is the complementary process,which is understood as the modification that occurs to a greater or
lesser extent in the knowledge structures when we use them, occurs in the knowledge structures when we use them to
give meaning to new objectives and areas of reality. .
3.- WHAT IS AN ASSIMILATION PROCESS?
Assimilation is the incorporation of new experience in the existing categories,and the modification of those existing
categories so that the new information fits. The cognitive approach suggests that the student controls learning. If the
assimilation were involved in the development, there would be no variations in the child's mind structures,assimilate
into necessary because it ensures the continuity of the structures and the integration of new elements to these
structures,but needs a counterpart that allows the change, the optimization of the adaptive qualities of intellectual
structures.
4. - WHAT IS THE ROLE OF THE LEARNER USING THE COGNITIVE APPROACH?
The student's function is active, self-directed and self-evaluated.
The Role of the student:
 Actively participate in the proposed activities.
 Propose and defend ideas.
 Accept and integrate the ideas of others.
 Ask others to understand and clarify. Propose solutions.
 Listen to both their peers and the teacher or facilitator
5.- HOW IS THE STUDENT'S MOTIVATION PROCESS?
The motivation of the student is more motivated internally; therefore, if the trainee has no motivation to learn, it will
be difficult or impossible for the trainer to motivate them. In addition, the instructional objectives are

7. - WHAT IS A SCHEME?
A scheme is a certain mental structure that It can be transferred and generalized. A scheme can occur in many
different levels of abstraction.One of the first schemes is the of the permanent object, which allows the child to
respond to objects that are not present sensory Later the child gets the scheme of a class of objects,which allows you
to group them in classes and see the relationship they have the members of one class with those of others.
