2. Definition
A coffee circle is a self-organized group
of people who want to develop or
improve initiatives for the benefit of the
greater #cphftw community.
Anyone can start a #cphftw coffee circle
at any time with any focus in mind.

3. The Interface
In order to create transparency
of what happens in #cphftw, all
circles are connected to an
interface towards #cphftw. The
interface is a simple guideline
followed by all circles.

5. Coffee Circle Interface
A coffee circle commit to the following:
• Choose a name for the circle
• Choose a topic, focus area or a problem you would like to solve
• Choose an owner
• Invite members
• Take a picture and write a tweet every time they meet
#coffeecircle.
• Share minutes, tools, content with the community on a subsite
on cphftw.dk (we encourage the use of google groups to keep it
really simple. Easy to embed an rss feed on the subsite)
• Meet regularly to follow up and take action

6. The Role of the Owner
• Get people together regularly.
• Onboard new members of circle
• Say goodbye to members who aren't
motivated to participate.
• Create content for subsite on cphftw.dk
• Share coffee circle stories with community
• Meet with #cphftw once every 3 month

7. The role of a member
• Some have a lot to give - some have a little. Make
sure to give exactly what you can, but always
remember to:
• Show up
• Do stuff
• Tell the world about it
• Have fun
• If you somehow don’t have the motivation to be part
of the group let the owner know instead of just not
showing up/responding to emails.

8. The role of #cphftw
• Facilitate kickoff and make sure the circle gets the best
possible start
• Tell story about the Copenhagen startup scene
• Support the owners of the coffee circles
• Suggest and initiate new coffee circles.
• Create a subsite on cphftw.dk to create visibility about
the group
• Help with google group and tools that will empower
group to get stuff done.
