The document discusses the future of online services and ecosystems. Several speakers address how services will increasingly be shaped by big data, algorithms, and continuous user profiles to anticipate needs. There is a tension between customized experiences and becoming too disconnected from unexpected experiences and other people. Designing systems to support play, choice, sharing, and bending rules may help address this tension and allow online life to have a better flow.
At the monthly Club of Amsterdam evening this time the theme was 'Future of Services' I presented our vision on the future of impulse driven and hyper personalised services.
Most Web 2.0 companies take months of hard planning and work. But what does it look like when you have to develop 6 new technology startups in just 48 hours? And what if those 48 hours were on-board a bus driving at 60mph from San Francisco to Austin with 26 strangers? That’s what happened to me and 25 other intrepid (foolish?) San Francisco-based technologists as we made our way to SXSW 2010. In my talk, I’ll discuss the exhausting and once-in-a-lifetime event that came to be known as The Startup Bus, how we did it, and what kinds of results we saw. The talk will include examples of how we used JIRA Studio, Atlassian’s collaborative, hosted development suite, to build the 6 new technology startups.
Web 3.0 continues to create a more democratic, censorship-free, and more transparent internet network by producing solutions to the problems of Web 2.0.
In this direction, metaverse technology, which is a future repetition of the internet consisting of 3-dimensional, permanent virtual spaces connected to the virtual universe, continues to reveal its difference.
At this point, the new technologies of the future continue to develop.

Why user data is core to the next wave of mobile innovation, including the role of Big Data. This presentation to Ericsson VPs visiting Ericsson Silicon Valley, so has a service provider perspective.
The client (or presentation) tier of our applications is taking on an increasingly important role. Users are expecting more compelling user interfaces, but they also want more functionality from their applications. In this ArcReady we examine how to design and deliver well architected client applications that will be easy to maintain and extend.
Session 1: Trends and patterns on the client tier
In our first session we will take a vendor and platform neutral look at some of the trends and emerging technologies that can be used on the client tier. We will look at techniques like Mashups, technologies like Natural User Interfaces (NUI) and the increasing importance of the mobile platform. We will also look at some common patterns that can be used in the architecture of the client tier.
Session 2: Applying Microsoft technology on the client tier
In our second session we will take some look at how we can use Microsoft technologies to create well architected and compelling client applications. We will look at technologies like Silverlight and WPF that can be used to create compelling clients. We will also look at technologies that can be used to make your applications more extensible for future development. We will also examine some architectural guidance developed by the Microsoft Patterns and Practices group.

Understanding User Needs and Satisfying ThemAggregage
https://www.productmanagementtoday.com/frs/26903918/understanding-user-needs-and-satisfying-them
We know we want to create products which our customers find to be valuable. Whether we label it as customer-centric or product-led depends on how long we've been doing product management. There are three challenges we face when doing this. The obvious challenge is figuring out what our users need; the non-obvious challenges are in creating a shared understanding of those needs and in sensing if what we're doing is meeting those needs.
In this webinar, we won't focus on the research methods for discovering user-needs. We will focus on synthesis of the needs we discover, communication and alignment tools, and how we operationalize addressing those needs.
Industry expert Scott Sehlhorst will:
• Introduce a taxonomy for user goals with real world examples
• Present the Onion Diagram, a tool for contextualizing task-level goals
• Illustrate how customer journey maps capture activity-level and task-level goals
• Demonstrate the best approach to selection and prioritization of user-goals to address
• Highlight the crucial benchmarks, observable changes, in ensuring fulfillment of customer needs

Implicitly or explicitly all competing businesses employ a strategy to select a mix
of marketing resources. Formulating such competitive strategies fundamentally
involves recognizing relationships between elements of the marketing mix (e.g.,
price and product quality), as well as assessing competitive and market conditions
(i.e., industry structure in the language of economics).
