Use Case 1：Remote water meter reading
•A solution for collecting water meter data for High
Rise Buildings.
•Purpose : gathering 15min meter readings from
residential water meters inside the building and from
the bulk water meter outside the building,
• M-Bus wired residential water meter ( Diehl,.. )
• M-bus wired bulk water meter ( Elster,
Badger,..)

1：Connect (outside) bulk water meter
• Outside water meter typically has M-bus (wired) interface
• Often it is not possible to run a wire to the electricity room inside the building where
a gateway is located
• Putting a gateway in water pit is not feasible due to high power consumption
• Solution : CG200 transforms M-bus meter reading into LoRaWAN data stream
Battery will last 10 years when transferring meter reading every 15 minutes.

• A solution for energy management in large buildings(department stores eg)
• Purpose : collect energy consumption of important electrical circuits in the building
(heating, cooling, ventilation …) with the purpose to analyse and save
energy

• Wireless M-bus (169MHz) to extend the wireless communication reach
