Cirrus clouds are high, thin and white, occurring in patches or feathery sheets. Cumulus clouds consist of rounded masses that have a dome or tower shape and cauliflower-like structure. Stratus clouds form sheets or layers that cover much of the sky, with only minor breaks and no distinct clouds.
