2. WHAT IS HAPPENING TO THE PLANET? HOTTING UP
Our planet is heating up much much faster than ever.
This is happening because we are producing a lot of
Co2 and we are using machines that produce pollution.
Co2 it’s the gas which seems to
be the main cause of the trouble.
3. WHAT IS HAPPENING TO THE PLANET? greenhouse effect
People is burning fuels with carbon, so this
carbon gets dumped into the air, combined with
the oxygen we all breathe, and so adds to our
greenhouse gas problem. This means that the
planet warms more than it should.
4. THE CAUSES OF THIS
➢ The fuel
➢ The coal
➢ The aluminum
➢ The copper
All this products are contaminating the world, they’re too bad to use them.
5. the consequences
WHAT WILL HAPPEN
TO US?
ANIMALS ATMOSPHERE FLORA
As the world warms,
nasty diseases like
malaria are starting
to spread because
the changing
climate favours the
mosquito that
carries the disease.
In the biggest cities,
the oceans will fill up
and overflow onto
the land.
Without very cold
water and ice, we get
too hot because, like
polar bears, we're
built for cold
weather. Fish which
need colder waters
have to swim north
and this can have
bad effects on both
fishing and seabirds.
Deserts will get more
drier, Hurricanes will
become more powerful,
Rain will be heavier in
other parts of the world
so there will be more
flood, the weather is
going to get more
violent and
unpredictable, And as
the ice melts, the
oceans will fill up and
overflow onto the land.
If the ice melts, the
water will take up
more space so the
plants will be
flooded and will not
be able to remove
the CO2 from the
environment.
6. WHAT WE CAN, WE MUST & MUSTN’T DO
WE MUST WE MUSTN’T WE CAN
Reduce Use fossil fuels Reduce and use plastics bags
Reuse Use plastic Go to places with public
transportation or by foot
Recycle Turn on the light when we have
sun in our rooms/classroom...
Reuse, and reduce cloths
By local products Use the care in solitaire, will we
share the car
Use clean renewable fuels
