This document discusses different types of rice cultivation based on water availability. It identifies upland rice as grown without standing water, with low soil moisture, and plant heights of 130-150cm. Lowland rice is grown with 5-50cm of standing water, with high soil moisture, and plant heights of 1-2m. Deep water rice requires more than 51cm to 5-6m of standing water, with medium to tall plant heights.
