The teacher outlines their goals to help students succeed in school this year. The teacher promises to respect each student's individual interests and abilities, teach the curriculum, provide timely feedback on assignments, and update grades regularly. The teacher expects students to come to class on time, prepared and willing to participate, help others, and make progress without excuses.
