constitution , according to the
article 21A, education has been
made a right in 2002.
According to this, government has
to provide free and compulsory
education to the children from six
to fourteen ages.

32. NATIONAL COMMISSION
FOR WOMEN
It protects the rights of women .
Formed under the law in 1990.
Commission has one chairman and five
members.
Sensitizes women on their constitutional
rights.
It studies the status of women .
33. NATIONAL COMMISSION
FOR MINORITIES
Commission was established in the
year 1992.
It has one chairman, one vice
chairman and five members.
Commission undertakes the study of
minorities and take necessary steps to
protect the interest of these minority
communities.
